A journey of love

Writing for me is opening my heart in many ways. The pen and paper was a place I could share my most intimate feelings.

I like many other writers feared sharing my works with others. Feelings of rejection or that people would not like my words.

When my Mother passed away in 2010 decided to share my art and found myself on the road to self publishing my first book. It was a journey of love for me like the arrival of a new baby.

Each step working with a publisher to have this book a piece of my heart in my hand. My first book turned out beautiful was so proud of it! I sold copies to friends and family did not have the slightest clue how to market it.

The publisher did a fantastic job it was very expensive to have this dream in print. I am a firm believer in self publishing and have since then published my second book Wind Whispers that is currently for sale on Amazon in both e-book and print version.

If you are a writer take that leap of faith and share your art with the world. Yes there will be people that like your words and others that do not. Do not let this stop your passion keep writing! Writing is like breathing for me and if you love to write surely you will feel the same.

There are many places now you can publish your book without the high cost. I continue to post and share my
poetry wanting to touch people's hearts with my words. Without self publishing I would have never maybe had the opportunity to share my whispers art.

If writing is your passion never give up on your dream! I have had the opportunity to share in writing contests that have published my works. Keep learning.

Keep growing on your writing journey! I am travelling the same yellow brick road lets help each other grow!
